Easy to type?
When you think about domain name ideas what’s the first thing you think about? A catchy name? Something memorable? Something that will really put you on the map?
Of course you do. But you also need to think about how easy it is to tell other people about it. When you say your domain name out loud, will you have to spell it or explain it to everyone who asks? Or will it be easy to understand?
Web site copywriting starts with a good domain name. Don’t be clever and use ‘cool’ spellings – stick to the proper words. And steer clear of using hyphens between each word. One is fine but any more than that is overkill.
Your domain name should roll off the tongue easily and be free of any misunderstandings. You could miss out on a lot of visitors simply by making life harder than it has to be.
Cheers!
