The Long and Short Of It

592411_33159567.jpgWeb site copywriting is extremely important. It needs to pull the casual surfer into the site and demand that they read what we have to say.

You can use SEO services to help optimise your content for the search engines, but it’s up to you to put together sentences, paragraphs and information that mean something to the reader.

Long sentences aren’t forbidden, but all website copy needs to be punchy and look attractive to the eye – before it even begins to be read.

So get rid of long paragraphs and go for short ones. There is nothing wrong with white space on a website! In fact, trying to cram too much in can have the effect of sending people running in the opposite direction.

It takes time to find your writing voice, but when you do it’s worth using it and perfecting it. Don’t let it go to waste!

Cheers!
